Saturday, January 12th at 2:30-4PM Clockwise Theatre is holding auditions for the role of Ava in the world premiere production of The Party in the Kitchen directed by Andrea Dymond.  Ava is 40s-50s, fierce, funny, wealthy, and stylish, she is a truth teller.

Clockwise Theatre is a professional, Non-Equity theatre at 221 North Genesee Street, Waukegan, IL. Please understand the location of the theatre (one hour north of Chicago, one hour south of Milwaukee) and closely look at the rehearsal and performance schedule below before arranging an audition.

If you wish to attached your headshot and resume to the e-mail, feel free to do so. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail with the script attached in PDF format and page numbers of the sides to prepare (no need to memorize, just be familiar)

The Party in the Kitchen Synopsis: Beginning on an idyllic early fall day in September 2001, a group of friends gather, unsuspecting of the upheaval to follow. From business tycoon Guy and Ava’s tumultuous marriage, just-getting-started Danny and his pregnant wife Mary, and middle management Phil and Lily’s happy home, all will be changed by events already launched in faraway lands and deals made in distant corporate headquarters.

  • Rehearsals begin February 19th
  • Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9:30PM, and one weekend day, TBD
  • Tech Weekend, April 13th & 14th
  • Opens Friday, April 19th, performances are Friday and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM, and closes Sunday, May 12th. Call time is one hour before curtain. Pick-up rehearsals during the run will be Thursdays at 7PM
  • Compensation is $20 per performance for a total of 12 performances
