Performing artists with disabilities are being sought NOW by Milwaukee Public Theatre for paid gigs for “Tap the Potential”, a series of arts events honoring Disability Awareness Month in October.

Artists should contact Deborah Lindberg as soon as possible at 414-906-0458.

Our definition of “Artist with Disabilities” is anyone whose personal or professional life has been impacted by a physical or mental health condition. No diagnosis or specific program enrollment is necessary, and artists are NOT required to make any public disclosure.

We’ve already booked several performances and one very special event. Read more on “Tap the Potential” on MPT’s website. Please share this opportunity!

Tap the Potential is sponsored by Milwaukee County Commission for Persons with Disabilities. MPT also receives ongoing support from Milwaukee County CAMPAC, the United Performing Arts Fund, and the City of Milwaukee Arts Board and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts, and numerous individuals.
