SYNOPSIS

The loons are back again on Golden Pond and so are Norman and Ethel Thayer, a couple in the twilight years of their marriage.  Daughter Chelsea, whom they have not seen for years and whose relationship with her father is stormy, is about to arrive for Norman’s birhtday, along with her fiance and his 13 year old son.  Chelsea has decided to leave Billy in her parents’ care while she and her fiance visit Europe.  Norman and Billy become great friends, leading Chelsea to attempt a better relationship with her father.
