Plot Synopsis

A LADY IN WAITING is an unconventional retelling of the Robin Hood legend. Liz Shipe’s new work focuses less on the hero and more on the man. This is a retelling that puts the well-worn characters of Sherwood Forest though conspiracy, death, and adventure.  Told through the eyes of a servant to Maid Marian, the story shows us a more complex world in Nottingham; good men lie, bad men are noble, and women try to find their place as more than bargaining chips outside castle walls.
