American Folklore Theatre will hold auditions and interviews for Interns for the 2015 season on January 5th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center.  AFT is seeking energetic, experienced, driven young artists to be a part of our 25th summer season.  Applicants must have completed at least one year of college, and must have a car.

In this coming season there may be two roles available for male interns, but there will be no available roles for female interns.  AFT interns work with our Production Stage Manager throughout the rehearsal period, assisting in all areas of the theater: costumes, props, set-up, takedown, clean-up, attending rehearsals, helping with computer reports, prompting, etc. If you are a performer, you will also be assigned to understudy.  AFT provides housing and pays a weekly stipend.

You can read more about the internship at http://www.folkloretheatre.com/about/internship.html

Performers should prepare one monologue and one song.  Technicians and stage management students are encouraged to apply with us and make an appointment to interview.

Please contact Molly Rhode at mrhode77@hotmail.com to schedule an appointment.
