Popular singer-actress RANA ROMAN takes a look back at her performing career in RANA … ROAMIN’ – A MUSICAL MEMOIR.  Through story and song, Rana shares her adventures as she roams from her hometown of Milwaukee to New York and Los Angeles, with many stops in between.  Her journeys are filled with amazing experiences and charming characters.  Somewhere along the way, Rana finds that true happiness has always been right in her own back yard.


Rana is one of the Midwest’s most highly sought-after vocalists, appearing on both stage and screen. Highlights include touring with the national company of RENT, television performances on Comedy Central’s “The Graham Norton Show,” and the ABC daytime drama “One Life To Live.”  Locally she has worked with Milwaukee Opera Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and Renaissance Theaterworks.  Ruben Piirainen, a versatile pianist with interests ranging from musical theatre to opera, will provide accompaniment and musical direction.  Ruben has degrees in piano performance from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music and Bowling Green State University.  His many credits include performances with Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Present Music, and the Florentine Opera Company.
