ARTISTS’ SPECIAL FOR OKIE JOE – 5$ TICKETS FOR THIS WEEKEND!…ARTIST TICKETS AT DOOR ONLY

THE WORLD PREMIERE OF OKIE JOE

(PG 13)

April 21 – 24

The classic story of Joseph set in “Film Noir” style, 1930s California. (or Humphrey Bogart meets the biblical Joseph!)

Though “Bogie” himself isn’t actually in our play version of the Joseph story, there are plenty of tough characters to go around. Pharoah becomes Governor Faro (Governor of California), Potiphar’s wife is the proverbial “double crossin’ dame”, and Joseph’s brothers?… well, let’s just say you wouldn’t want to meet them in a dark alley.

The setting of the play is a movie production, shooting Okie Joe’s story. The conflict of Joe’s life plays out in a “film noir” world of only black and white, except for “the tie of many colors” of course.
