We are calling on local artists, activists and healers to come together to start the healing process and unite as we mourn and honor the stolen lives of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Jay Anderson and many other black men, women and children in this country.

Milwaukee area leaders and artists will share words and performances that uplift and empower those of us who struggle with the questions “what can I do?” or “how can I help?”

If you are an arts leader or performer interested in sharing, please contact Malkia at bronzevilleartsensemble@gmail.com. We apologize in advance for we are not able to accommodate everyone’s request to share.

We will post speakers, performers and contributors as they are confirmed.

We are in need of assistance to make this happen and to get the word out. Contact bronzevilleartsensemble@gmail.com to see how you can help.

Donations will be collected throughout the evening to support one or some of the grieving families.

Let’s show Milwaukee, the grieving families and this country that Milwaukee artists and activists care and have hope that we will find the clarity to put our words and feelings into action.

Thank you!
