Our organization is hosting a 3 day training conducted by National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College. The training is entitled: Child Sex Trafficking Forensic Interview Training. It is being held at the Family Peace Center at 619 W. Walnut St. in Milwaukee. I have included the link. This is a regional training for law enforcement, child protective services workers and forensic interviewers who conduct interviews of Child Sex Trafficking Victims. There will be 24 participants. We are looking for adults with acting experience that would be willing to commit either a full day or a half day to play an adolescent victim of sex trafficking. You would be provided with scenarios and some resources to prepare you for your role. You would also be prepped before the interview and debriefed after the interview by training staff.
We would need you on Friday, June 9 from approximately 8 a.m. to noon and 12pm – 4pm. Each person would do 3 mock interviews in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. If 4 people want to stay all day that would work or we could use 4 in the morning and 4 different people in the afternoon. There is no monetary compensation but lunch and snacks will be provided. Please contact me directly either by phone or e-mail if you have any questions.
Thank you for considering this. Though this is a very difficult topic you would be providing a valuable service to professionals in this field who are trying to provide the best possible experience to traumatized children.
