“Gretel”, a new Wisconsin film shot in and around the hills of the State’s Driftless Region, is a dark fable of survival and madness. Produced by Anthony Wood and writer/director Tom Muschitz, “Gretel” puts an eerie, contemporary spin on the original tale of “Hansel and Gretel”, as two young children struggle to make their way out of a vast and threatening wilderness. The film features local actors Sean McKenna, Edy Cullen, Tom Loedwyck, Karim Patterson, Nikki Farce and Tom Crawford, and stars Maya and Thomas E. Muschitz.
